02 Vougeot


Savour life at a leisurely pace as the barge sets sail along the canal. After lunch take a scenic drive down the Route des Grands Crus, arriving in the charming village of Vougeot.Enjoy an exclusive visit to the Clos de Vougeot, an elegant chateau encased in a walled vineyard. The medieval estate serves as headquarters to the Confrerie de Chevaliers de Tastevin, the famous Burgundian wine society. After a private wine-tasting make your way back to the barge for an exquisite evening of fine French cuisine.


03 Gissey


After an indulgent breakfast, take a walking tour of historic Dijon. Visit the market, the Ducal Palace, and the Grey Poupon mustard shop.The city is brimming with cultural treasures and charming boutiques to discover. Take time to explore at your leisure, or savour a tranquil morning at a pavement café soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.Return to the barge for a delicious lunch before we embark on the most stunning part of the cruise to the village of Gissey.


04 La Bussiere


Awaken to views of lush countryside as the barge cruises along the glorious Ouche Valley to La Bussiere. Enjoy breakfast on board before a short drive to the hilltop village of Chateauneuf en Auxois. Here you’ll visit the splendid 12th-century chateau, boasting breathtaking views across the valley.Head to the Abbey de la Bussiere for an exceptional Michelin-starred lunch within a beautifully restored Cistercian abbey. Return to the barge in the evening for a leisurely dinner on board. 


05 Beaune 


This morning the barge sails through the heart of the beautiful Ouche Valley to Pont d’Ouche.After lunch visit Beaune, the capital of the Burgundy wine region. Marvel at the famous Hôtel-Dieu, a magnificent 15th-century charity hospital. Afterwards, take to the town’s pretty cobbled streets to explore.Revel in Beaune’s medieval charm and enjoy a private wine-tasting before returning to the barge. 



06 Pommard


After a leisurely cruise we arrive at Vandenesse. Savour a delicious lunch on board before a visit to the Chateau de Pommard.A private tour awaits at this splendid regency estate. Explore the historic wine cellars, enjoy a tasting of the estate’s finest wines and marvel at the fine art exhibition. Back on the barge, chef prepares a farewell gala dinner for your final evening on board.


07 Vandenesse


After breakfast the crew bid you a fond farewell as you disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
